How to Make Fire With Toothpaste, Salt, and Potatoes
A very simple method: how to make a flame using only materials that are easily available (potatoes, toothpaste/toothpaste, salt, toothpicks/sticks, wires and cotton).
A little explanation: What happens here is that the fluoride in the toothpaste and salt forms an electrolyte that reacts with the copper and zinc (coating of wires). The important thing is that we can get both ends of the cable (wire) one anode and the other cathode.
Waiting 5 minutes favors the chemicals placed in the middle of the game to react and build up an electric charge, and the potato we use acts as a battery, then the heat generated by shorting the two wires in the potato sets off a flame in the cotton.
